8 BOWLERS ADVANCE TO PEPSI STATE IN
12 & OVER DIVISIONS
Eight youth bowlers in the 12 & Over age divisions will advance to
the Pepsi State Finals Tournament to be held at Landmark Lanes in
Peoria May 14-16. Advancing in the 12 & Over Boys handicap Division
are Aaron Martell, Tyler Klein, Casey Nordine & Maverick Robbins. In
the 12 & Over Girls Handicap Division, Kayla Johnson and Haley
Bainbridge will advance. In the Scratch Division, we will have
Brandyn Shepherd and Matt Edwards. congratulations to all of the
bowlers who participated in the Zone Tournaments.

3 BOWLERS ADVANCE TO PEPSI STATE IN
11 & UNDER DIVISIONS
Alex Kull placed first in the 11 & Under Boys division of the Pepsi
Zone 8 tournament at Arrowhead Lanes in Champaign. He will
advance to the Pepsi State Finals 11 & Under tournament to be held in
May at Pheasant Lanes. also advancing to state competition are
Jackson Kaufman who placed 9th and Noah McGowan who placed
12th.

WINTER STORM CANCELLATIONS!
When winter storms threaten our bowlers safety, leagues may be
cancelled. Listen to the cancellations on WJBC, WBNQ or B104.
Cancellations will also appear on their websites.

GRAND PRIX FUND RAISING UNDERWAY!
Grand Prix Scholarship Program members fund raising should be
submitted to Carla dicken now. Funds were to be submitted no later
than January 24, 2010. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 fund
raisers raising in excess of $200. Late submissions will not be
considered for fund raising prizes.

ISBPA-USBC TEAM HANDICAP TOURNAMENT!
Pheasant Lanes will advance 8 teams to the area round of the ISBPA-
USBC Team Handicap Tournament. In the Bantam Division – Logan
Hempstead, Sam Dorrell, Dalton Anderson, Mason Burns, Adam Sohn.
In the Prep Division – First Place – Collin Eckel, Jackson Kaufman,
Shawn Wilson, Sean Hanley, Shane Johnson. In Second Place – Alyx
Merritt, Katelyn Morley, Jacob Tolonen, Quentin McBee, Dustin
Mailloux. In the Junior Division – First Place – Scott Beyer, Aaron
Byrne, Carter Burns, T. J. Christensen, Andrew Harman. In Second
Place – Maverick Robbins, Adam Grimes, Hunter Fuller, Nathan Suhre,
Liz Gerwick. In the Major-Senior Division – First Place – Amanda
Croke, Brandon Bronke, Stephen Lake, Bart Albert, Ky Newbill. In
Second Place – William Kinslow, Devon Alvis, Luke Sorensen, Devin
Barlow, Andy Duffer. In Third Place – Tyler Klein, Kaitlin Culp,
Megan Dewey, Andrew Boden, Matt Culp.

Bowlers will compete again in the area round at Logan Lanes in
Lincoln on Saturday, February 20th at 3:00 PM. Bowlers should plan
to arrive no later than 2:15 PM. Be prepared to show your USBC
sanction card if asked to show it. If you have misplaced it, please
contact Carla Dicken as soon as possible.

PEPSI ZONE TOURNAMENT QUALIFIERS!
Pheasant Lanes youth bowlers qualifying to advance to the
2010 Illinois Pepsi Youth Bowling Championship Zone
Tournament are: Girls Ages 11 & Under – Linnea Hall, Emily

These bowlers will compete in the Illinois Pepsi USBC Zone 8
Tournament at Arrowhead Lanes in Champaign. Ages 11 & Under
divisions will bowl January 9-10, 2010, while Ages 12 & Over
divisions will compete February 6-7, 2010. The Illinois Pepsi
USBC State Championships for the 11 & Under Divisions will be
held at Pheasant Lanes in Bloomington, May 1-2, 2010. 12 &
Over Divisions will bowl at Landmark Lanes in Peoria, May 14-
16, 2010.
