ILLINOIS STATE USBC TEAM TOURNAMENT
Teams are being formed for the 2012 Illinois State USBC Team Tournament.
Pheasant Lanes youth bowlers are scheduled to bowl on Saturday, April 21st, at 1:30
PM at Town & Country Lanes in Joliet, IL. Five spots have been reserved for Sunday,
April 22nd if your team cannot bowl on April 21st.

If you wish to bowl, you can form your own team or we will put you on a team that
needs bowlers. Entry fee is $15 per bowler. Bowlers also have the option to
purchase polos at a discounted cost of $10 per shirt. Each team may choose its own
color.

ISBPA SINGLES REGIONAL ROUND
Qualifiers for the ISBPA Singles Regional will bowl on Saturday, March 17, 1:00 PM at
Logan Lanes in Lincoln, IL. Further information will be distributed when it is available.

Pheasant Lanes bowlers advancing to the Regional Round include: Bantams – Collin
Eckel; Preps – Linnea Hall & Jacob Tomera; Juniors – Scott Beyer, Sean Hanley &
Phillip Jackson; Majors – Trevor Forbes & Lauryn Foster; Scratch Boys – Matt
Jenkins & Dale Roeske. State Singles Finals will be held April 28-29, 2012, at Plaza
Lanes in Washington, IL.

PEPSI STATE QUALIFIERS - 11 & Under Divisions
Congratulations to our Age 11 & Under bowlers who qualified to advance to the
Pepsi State Finals May 5-6 at SI Bowl in Carterville, IL.

Lilly Starr was the winner of the Girls 11 & Under Division with a 750 handicap
series. Also qualifying was 6th place finisher, Alexis Wagner. In the Boys 11 &
Under Division, Ben Lesney and Collin Eckel finished 9th and 10th, respectively. They
will also bowl in the Pepsi State Finals in May.

ADULT-CHILD 9-PIN NO-TAP TOURNAMENT
Qualifying begins Saturday, January 14-15 for the 2012 Adult-Child 9-Pin No-Tap
Tournament. Qualifying squads will also be held January 21-22 and 28-29. All
squads at 1 PM. Qualifying entry fee is $20 per team per squad. Youths may bowl as
often as they wish but may only qualify for finals once. Adults can only qualify with
two bowlers. Entry forms are available at Pheasant Lanes or from Carla Dicken,
Youth Director. You may email her for additional information or to reserve a squad

DENNY MARQUARDT
The Pheasant Lanes Youth Program mourns the loss
of Denny Marquardt, Denny's Doughnuts and Bakery.
Denny was a wonderful man - anyone who knew
Denny, loved him. A bright light in our community
has been dimmed. Denny's Doughnuts and Bakery
always has been and always will be the official bakery
of the Pheasant Lanes Youth Program.
Rest in peace, Denny.

Zone Tournament will be held at Arrowhead Lanes in Champaign. Our bowlers are
confirmed to bowl as follows: January 8th at 1 PM for Ages 11 & Under and
February 19 at 1:30 PM for Ages 12 & Over. Pepsi State will be held at S.I. Bowl in
Carterville, IL May 5-6, 2012, for Ages 11 & Under. Ages 12 & Over will compete at
Spare Time Lanes in Decatur May 18-20, 2012. Zone information will be distributed
this week during league to all qualifiers. Entry Fees are $19.00 for 11 & Under
Divisions and $21.00 for 12 & Over Divisions.

TOURNAMENT DRESS CODE
Tournament time is here. Please remember to always follow the tournament dress
code when bowling in any tournament either at Pheasant Lanes or elsewhere.
Those bowling in the team tournament have been given polos to be worn for the team
tournament and can also be worn for Pepsi and other tournaments as well. Pepsi
qualifiers who did not bowl in the team tournament may purchase a polo at a
discounted rate to wear for the Pepsi Zone Tournament.

View weekly league standing sheets on the USBC website. Hover your mouse over
"League" in the navigation bar of this page and then click "League Standings
Sheets". follow the directions posted. It's easy ... just enter your 4-digit League ID#
which is printed at the end of your weekly standings sheet.

Standings are posted as soon as possible following your league, but are typically
available by Monday evening.
